Graveside Services for Guy E. “George” Janis, Jr., age 58, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverends Craig West and Ben Tyon officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services will be provided by Mr. Jerome LeBeau. A one-night wake will begin on Friday, November 28th at 2:00PM at Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. Immediate Survivors:
Wife- Marcie Janis of Pine Ridge, SD.
Son- Waylon Janis of Pine Ridge, SD.
Daughters- Tanya Janis of Pine Ridge, SD; Heather Janis of Denver, CO.
Father- Guy Janis, SR. of Pine Ridge, SD.
Brother- Robert (Rock) Janis of Pine Ridge, SD.
Sisters- Lula Bettelyoun, Wanda Donavon both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Granddaughter- 1
