Funeral Services for Gerald L. Van Buskirk, will be Friday, December 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM at United Methodist Church in Rushville, NE with Pastor Rodney Heilburn officiating.
Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Rushville, NE. Donations may be sent to Lied Transplant Center, 4310 Emile Street, Omaha, NE 68198. Jerald will be remembered for contributions as a world class school superintendent and principal. In these roles, he touched and impacted the lives of countless students, parents and educators. Immediate Survivors:
Wife- Sharon of Omaha, NE.
Daughters- Shannon Watkins of Omaha, NE; Michelle Anderson of Phoenix, AZ. Sons- Mike Van Buskirk of Hay Springs, NE; Todd Van Buskirk of Cheyenne, WY. Sisters- Geraldine Schoettger of Corvalis, OR; Betty Ruleaux of Chadron, NE. Grandchildren- 11 Nieces & Nephews- Numerous Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
