Funeral Services for Ron Kills Warrior, Sr. “Wayu Canze”, age 55, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Monday, January 26, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Fr. Bill Pauly Catholic Hall in Porcupine, SD with Reverend Cordelia Red Owl officiating.
A one night wake will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 25th at Fr. Bill Pauly Catholic Hall in Porcupine, SD. Burial will be at Monday, January 26th at 1:30PM at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD. Ronald was born on July 20, 1953 in Rushville, NE to Louis and Catherine (Slow Bear) Kills Warrior. Ronald served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Coral Sea and was an accomplished carpenter. He attended elementary school in Porcupine and graduated from Pine Ridge High School. In his later years he attended Oglala Lakota College. Immediate Survivors:
Wife- Gearaldine Linda Kills Warrior of Pine Ridge, SD.
Sons- Camerone Kills Warrior of Pine Ridge, SD; Donald Kills Warrior, Ronald Kills Warrior, Jr. both of Porcupine, SD.
Daughters- Catherine Kills Warrior of Porcupine, SD; Monique Kills Warrior, Michelle Kills Warrior, Marine Kills Warrior all of Kyle, SD.
Sisters- Joy Bush, Katherine Kills Warrior both of Porcupine, SD.
Grandchildren- Donald Kills Warrior, Jr., Ebony Kills Warrior.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
