Funeral Services for Don Bremer, age 72, of Whitney and former Gurley Area Resident, will be Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Warring Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney with Pastor Marsha Stauus officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25th from 1-7:00 PM at Gehrig-Stitt Chapel in Sidney and from 9-11:00 AM on Thursday, February 25th at the Warring Memorial United Church in Whitney. Burial will be at the Whitney Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Crawford Rescue Unit. Immediate Survivors:
Wife- Fran Bremer of Whitney, NE.
Son- Jim Bremer of Whitney, NE.
Daughter- Julie and husband Mike Rowan of Gurley, NE.
Grandchildren- Matt Rowan and wife Ashley of Omaha, NE; Aaron Biltoft and husband Scott of Oak, NE; Josh Rowan of Gurley, NE; Courtney Bremer of Chadron, NE; Kevin Bremer of Whitney, NE.
Great Grandchildren- Ethan Rowan and Wes Biltoft.
Brothers- Dale Bremer and wife Miriam; Ralph Bremer and wife Lenore both of Lingle, WY.
Sisters- Myrtle Jantzen of Lingle, WY; Gladys Prickett and husband Harold of Torrington, WY. Sisters-In-Law- Dixie Bremer of Lingle, WY; Marleen Cruise and Shirley Cruise both of Dalton.
