Funeral Services for Denise M. Waggener, age 54, of Chadron will be Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Denise M. Waggener of Chadron, Nebraska passed away at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado on Saturday, March 21, 2009.
She fought head and neck cancer for a year and a half, and lost the battle with complications of pneumonia.
She was employed at Chadron State College from September 1, 1983 to November 13, 2007 and was a member of the legion auxiliary.
Denise was preceded in death by her father John Waggener.
Immediate Survivors:
Mother- Ivy Waggener of Chadron, NE.
Brother- Darrel Waggener and wife Pamela of Windsor, CO.
Nephew- Sean Waggener and family of Chadron, NE.
Nieces- Michelle Waggener and family of Windsor, CO; Rebecca Waggener of Fort Collins, CO; Carissa Johnson and family of North Glen, CO.
Extended family of the US and England. Denise was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was truly loved and will be forever missed. Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
