Funeral Services for Theodore M. Phelps, age 80, of Caputa, SD will be Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Reverend Harold Condon and Mr. Richard Charging Eagle officiating.
A two night wake will begin Saturday, April 18th at 4:00PM at Little Wound School in Kyle, SD; the second night wake will begin on Sunday, April 19th at 4:00PM at Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services will be provided by Mr. Delani Has No Horse and Mr. Rick Grey Grass. Burial will be at 2:30PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD. Immediate Survivors:
Sons- Farrel Phelps of Santa Cruse, CA; Verland Phelps, Ted Phelps of Rockyford, SD; Myron Phelps of Sisseton, SD; Byron Phelps, Matthew Phelps, Stacy Phelps all of Rapid City, SD.
Daughters- Peggy Phelps –Means of Pine Ridge, SD; Valarie Phelps-Arcoren of Rosebud, SD; Debra Phelps-Davis of Denver, CO; Charlene Phelps, LaDonna Phelps, DeAnn Phelps-Salway, Lisa Phelps all of Rapid City, SD.
Sister- Delilah McPherson of Rapid City, SD.
