05/15/2009 - Rodney Heesacker

Funeral Services for Rodney Heesacker of Hay Springs, Nebraska will be Friday May 15, 2009 at 10:00am at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Hay Springs with Father James Joseph officiating.  Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Hay Springs.

Heesacker died Wednesday May 13, 2009 at the Hemingford Community Care Center, he was 81. 

A memorial has been established for the Ambulance Fund or Post 239 Color Guard, both of Hay Springs.  Donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Drabbels, P.O. Box 443, Hay Springs, Nebraska 69347.

Survivors include many cousins.

Heesacker was born April 20, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska.  His parents were Peter and Genevieve F. (Heiting) Heesacker. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Chamberlain-Drabbels in Hay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
