Funeral Services for Don Schwarting, of Rushville, Nebraska will be Tuesday June 9, 2009 at 10:00am at Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home in Gordon, Nebraska with Celebrant Harlen Wheeler officiating.

Burial will be at the Gordon Cemetery, in Gordon.

Visitation will be Monday, June 8, from 5 until 7pm, at Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home.

Mr. Schwarting died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Gordon Memorial Hospital, he was 62.

A memorial has been established for the Rushville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.  Donations may be sent to, Security First Bank, P.O. Box 550 Rushville, NE 69360.

Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
