Funeral Services for Trey Len Lamont, age 17, of Gordon will be Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Gordon City Auditorium.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 6-7:30 PM at Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at the GordonCemetery.
A reception will be held at the Gordon American Legion directly following the services.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to First National Bank, P.O. Box 290, Gordon, NE 69343.Trey Len Lamont, of Gordon, unexpectedly died Sunday July 26th 2009. He was born July 15, 1992, in Rapid City to Trina Shedeed and Gary Lamont. As a young boy, Trey though t his name was “Boogie Bear”. He resided with his family in Rapid City, SD, Vermillion, SD, and Littleton, CO. At the age of 7 he blessed Gordon, NE, by spending the next 10 years of his life here. He attended the Gordon/Rushville school district where he was a member of the basketball team, but his real passion was music.
He was a carefree fearless young man who loved skateboarding. He had a real passion for the kids of Gordon to have a place to skateboard without getting in trouble. His other interests include driving around, drawing, Frisbee golf, and spending time with the children in his family. He also loved to help his Grandpa at the Gordon Country Club since he was 11. Trey will be remembered for his fun wit and his intelligent sense of humor. Trey would find a way to lift your spirits in any situation.

Mother- Trina Janis.
Brothers- Dakota and Gio. Sister- Alissa. Grandparents- Jim and Nancy Shedeed; Pam and Gene Oakley of Hereford, TX; Ray Lamont of Rapid City, SD. Great Grandmother- Virginia Kaiser. Aunts & Uncles- Amanda and Brad Roudebush, Jeremy and Jolene Shedeed, Amber and Brian Goheen, Christy Shedeed, Tandy and Kriss Sipp, Wrayanne Lamont, Jerry Lamont, Yvette Lamont. Many, many great aunts and uncles, cousins; and one unborn child Oliver Len. Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
