Funeral Services for Leona Marie Pinnt, age 97, of Hot Springs, SD will be Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Dwayne Hunzeker officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 5-7:00 PM at McColley’s Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD.
Burial will be Thursday, August 20th at 2:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron, NE.
A memorial has been established for St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Leona Marie Pinnt passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at Castle Manor Nursing Home in Hot Springs, SD.
Leona was born April 30, 1912, in Greeley County, NE to John and Inez (Harsin) Krogh and was raised on their ranch. She married John W. Pinnt on December 6, 1927 at Lake Andes, SD. To this union five children were born, Alice, Marian, Dorothy, Duane and Robert. They ranched in Nebraska until 1951 when they moved to a ranch in South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Pinnt, two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice and John Grainger and Marian and Melvin Dewey; two grandsons, Russell Johnson and Owen Gene Pinnt; one sister and three brothers.
Immediate Survivors:
Daughter- Dorothy and husband Andrew Goeden of Rapid City, SD.
Sons- Duane and wife Elaine Pinnt of Hot Springs, SD; Robert and wife Jacquelyn Pinnt of Chadron, NE.
Brother- Alvin Krogh of Fairbault, MN. Grandchildren- 10
Great Grandchildren- 19 Great Great Grandchildren- 10
McColley’s Chapel of the Hills in Hot Spring, SD is in charge of arrangements.
