Funeral Services for Lillian Sharpfish, age 69 of Oglala, SD, will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Pedro Sharpfish Residence in Oglala, SD with Bishop Herbie Starr and Reverend Abraham Tobacco officiating. A three night wake will begin Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 2:00PM at Pedro Sharpfish Residence in Oglala, SD. Burial will be at 1st Body of Christ Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD. Lillian passed away on September 4, 2009 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD. Immediate Survivors: Husband- Pedro Sharpfish of Oglala, SD.
Son- Stephan Broken Nose of Rapid City, SD.
Daughters- Lexie Shields, Audrey Martinez both of Oglala, SD.
Sister- Edna Plenty Arrows of Allen, SD. Brother- Herbie Starr of Batesland, SD.Grandchildren- Anna Marie, Thomas Diaz, Dennis Jr., Lillian, Rachel Martinez. Great Grandchildren- Violet and Citan Sylvan Chavez.
Lillian is proceeded in death by her mother Hazel Little Hawk, Sister Eleanor Red Cloud, Brother Sylvan Little Hawk, Children, Anne, Verle and Manesa and one great grandson Bruce Allen.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
