09/12/2009 - Bonnie Shoop
Graveside Services for Bonnie Shoop, age 59, of Mitchell, NE, formerly Chadron and Hay Springs will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Hay Springs Cemetery with Reverend Bradley Daniels officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at Chamberlain-Drabbels Mortuary in Hay Springs.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Drabbels, P.O. Box 443, Hay Springs, NE 69347.
Bonnie Louella Shoop was born on November 9, 1949 to Henry and Goldie Taylor of Hay Springs. She passed away on September 7, 2009 at her home in Mitchell, Nebraska. Bonnie lived most of her life in the Hay Springs and Rushville area. She married Phil Shoop Sr. on May 12, 1968. To this union, three children were born. Philip J., Adam J., and Kathren. Bonnie was diagnosed with Polio and diabetes early in her life, however she was able to overcome the obstacles of her illnesses and live a meaningful life. Bonnie was the youngest of seven children. She left behind many friends and family with a sad heart of her passing.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Sons- Phil Shoop and wife Kristine of Osmond, NE; Adam and wife Andy Shoop of Rapid City, SD.
Daughter- Kathy DeWeese of Mitchell, NE.
Brother- Henry (Hank) Taylor, Jr. of Hay Springs, NE
Sisters- Elizabeth and husband Lloyd Taylor of Alliance, NE; Judy and Tom Krotz of Rushville, NE; Mary Harris of Columbus, NE; Virginia Reeves of Chadron, NE; Sara and husband John Addie of Port Townsend, WA.
Grandchildren- Ty and Mathew of Osmond, NE; Missy, Dakota, Dalton, and Dayna Shoop of Rapid City, SD; Lane, Eathan, and Destiny DeWeese of Mitchell, NE.
Many nieces, nephews, loving cousins and friends.
Chamberlain-Drabbels Mortuary in Hay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
