Funeral Services for Katie Joe Janis, age 38, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Steve Sanford, Mr. Charles McGaa, Reverend Abraham Tobacco officiating.
A Prayer Vigil will begin Wednesday, November 4th at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD.
Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.

Sons- Jeffrey Janis, James Dowty, Jr., Joseph Dowty, Romey Janis all of Pine Ridge, SD; Andrew Bettelyoun, Darrin Bettelyoun both of Rapid City, SD.
Maternal Grandparents- Pearl Dixon and Charles White Wolf both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Brothers- Lewis J. Janis of Jackpot, NV; Carter Dixon, Samuel Arcoren both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Sister- Tonie Hernandez of Kyle, SD.
