Funeral Services for Alicia Provost, age 28, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Monday, November 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Bill C. Bear Gym in Batesland with Reverend Cordelia Red Owl, Reverend Peter Klink and Mr. Ben Conquering Bear officiating.
A two night wake will begin Saturday, November 14th at 1:00 PM at Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge. The second night will begin Sunday at 2:30 PM at Bill C. Bear Gym in Batesland, SD.
Burial will be at Two Lance Family Cemetery near Batesland
Alicia Provost passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Pine Ridge.
Alicia Provost was born on February 25, 1981 to Irv Provost, Sr. and Serena Brown. She attended school at Red Cloud and Pine Ridge High School and graduated in 1999. After graduating high school, she attended college at TVI in Albuquerque, NM and was currently taking classes at Oglala Lakota College. She was employed by the Oglala Sioux Tribe and has worked in the Secretary’s office, Personal Office and Payroll Office. At the time of her death she was employed by the Oglala Sioux Lakota Housing Finance Department.
She met Vincent LeBeau in 1997 and from this union they had 3 beautiful children: Katelyn, Tristan and Erin.
Alicia was proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather, Garfield Brown, Sr., her paternal grandmother Winona (Bebe) Linehan and aunties, Mona Hagen and Jo Two Lance.
Immediate Survivors:
Husband- Vince LeBeau of Pine Ridge, SD.
Children- Katelyn, Tristan and Erin. Parents- Irv & Serena of Pine Ridge, SD.
Brothers- Charles, Irv, Jr., John Provost all of Pine Ridge, SD. Sister- Stephanie Provost of Pine Ridge, SD.
Grandmothers- Zona Brown of Pine Ridge, SD; Vestana Two Lance of Batesland, SD. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
