Marvin Eugene Sandoz was born March 26, 1947, in Hay Springs, NE, to Andrew and Dorothy Sandoz of rural Rushville. He died December 1, 2009.
Marv lived on Pine Creek until moving to Gordon in 1952. He attended Gordon Grade School and Gordon High School, graduating in 1965. He worked on various ranches, worked at the local packing plant for several different owners and did auto body work for 23 years. He obtained his CDL license to drive truck and was proud to drive his truck with “Grandpa” painted on the door for Sandoz Trucking.
Marv enjoyed flying airplanes and got his private pilots license in 1971. He belonged to two flying clubs in Gordon and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He also loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the National Rifle Association and was co-founder of the local Niobrara Sportmen's Club.
He enjoyed visiting with friends at the coffee shops in town and going to auctions. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his kids, grand kids and great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sister- Phyllis Macumber and husband Donald.
Grandchildren- Abby, Andrew, Tori, Tiffany, Thomas, Toni, Mariah and Madison.
Great Grandson- Cameron
Nieces & Nephews- Several
