Funeral Services for Virgina M. Mader, age 83, of Crawford will be Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Bernard Berger officiating.
A rosary will be Thursday, December 10th at 6:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Crawford.
A memorial has been established for the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
Mrs. Mader died December 7, 2009 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance.
Virginia was born on March 16, 1926 in Ardmore, South Dakota.
Back to FuneralsVirginia was born on March 16, 1926 in Ardmore, South Dakota, to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Inman. She married Jerome “Jiggs” Mader on September 4, 1943, at Ardmore, South Dakota. She cared for her husband and children on a ranch until 1972, when she and her family moved to Edgemont, South Dakota. She later moved to Crawford in 1977.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband “Jiggs” Mader and two sons Jack Mader and infant son, her parents and brothers Loren and Gene Inman, a sister Bonita and husband Jim Resseguie and their son little Jim; aunt Betty Mader, brother-in-laws Merlin and John Mader, a niece Cindy (Mader) Sutton, and two great grandchildren, Theresa and Joseph Koinzan.

Children- Stephen and wife Roz Mader of Whitney, NE; Scotty and wife Tammie Mader of Hayden, CO; Dan and wife Vickie Mader of Crawford, NE; James and wife Jacquie Mader of Albuquerque, NM; Perry and wife Lisa Mader of Scottsbluff, NE; Valli and husband Steve Petersen of Gordon, NE; Lana and husband Tye Merrick of Sidney, NE. Brother- Bob Inman of Sun Valley, CA. Sister-In-Laws- Violet Inman, Doris Mader both of Rapid City, SD. Grandchildren- 25 Great Grandchildren- 19 Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford is in charge of arrangements.
