Funeral Services for Charlie White Elk, age 57, of Kyle, SD will be Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Little Wound School in Kyle, SD with Reverend Cordelia Red Owl and Mr. Richard Moves Camp officiating.
A two night wake will begin Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Burial will be at American Horse Family Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
Immediate Survivors:
Wife- Cordelia White Elk of Kyle, SD.
Sons- Charles Phillip Poor Bear, Thomas White Elk both of Kyle, SD; Nathanial Blacksmith of Rapid City, SD.
Daughters- Maxine Broken Nose of Pine Ridge, SD; Denise Harris of Rapid City, SD; Melinda Hailey of CA; Emmaline Poor Bear, Hannah White Elk both of Kyle, SD.
Brothers- Reggie White Elk of Redmond, OR; Neil Poor Bear of Sioux Falls, SD.
Sister- Marilyn Pourier of Kyle, SD.
Grandchildren- 28
Great Grandchildren- 3 Hunka Children- 5
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
