Memorial services for Dawn Elizabeth Russell, age 37, of Chadron will be Monday, December 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.
Burial will be at the Gordon Cemetery. A memorial has been established Bank of the West in Memory of Dawn Russell. Donations may be sent to Bank of the West, 210 W. 3rd Street, Chadron, NE 69337.
Dawn Elizabeth Russell, 37, of Chadron, passed away on December 16, 2009, at Ponderosa Villa in Crawford after fighting lung cancer. Dawn was born September 26, 1972, in Gordon, Nebraska to Jack and Edythe Russell. She was a big Husker fan and collected all kinds of Husker items as well as lighthouses. Dawn worked at various locations in the food service industry. She enjoyed life, family, friends, and football. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Russell; grandparents, William and Ann Hathorn and William and Vera Russell. Immediate Survivors:
Mother- Edythe Russell of Chadron, NE.
Brothers- Jack Russell, Ed Russell both of Alliance, NE; Lee Russell of Chadron, NE.
Sister- Teresa Toedtli of Alliance, NE.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
