Funeral Services for Vinie Lorene Hoagland, age 80, of Dothan, AL, formerly of Bayard will be Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff with Pastor Brad Kihlthau officiating.

Burial will be at 12:30 PM at the Crawford City Cemetery in Crawford, NE.

Vinie Lorene Hoagland died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Wesley Manor in Dothan, AL.

She was born on July 20, 1929 in Birmingham, AL to Hosie Thomas and Blanchie Lavada (Lockart) Webb. She received her education in Columbus, GA. She married Howard Hoagland on May 17, 1947 in Ft. Benning, GA, and to this union four children were born. The family moved to Marsland, NE and worked on a ranch until they moved to Bayard in 1988 until Howard’s death in 2007 when Vinie moved to Wesley Manor in Dothan, AL to be closer to her family.

Vinie loved her family and would be proud to know that all of her grandchildren will be honored as Honorary Casket Bearers at her funeral.

Her parents, husband Howard, brother Carlos Webb of Dothan, AL; sisters Lucille Bishop of Pensacola, FL, and Ludine Guy of Dothan, AL preceded her in death

Sons- Keith Hoagland of Potter, NE; Kelly (Christine) Hoagland of Denver, CO.

Daughters- Judith (LaDon) Elmore of Gordon, AL; Jeannie (Terry) Staman of Crawford, NE.

Brother- Clinton (Sara) Webb of Sneeds, FL.

Sister- Audrey Tolar of Bentonville, AR.

Sister-in-law- Mary Alice Webb of Dothan, AL.
