Memorial Services for Joshua McGibbon Hawthorne, age 36, of Republic, WA will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established for his son, Liam at the Chadron Federal Credit Union, 126 E. 3rd Street, Chadron, NE, 69337.
Former Chadron resident Joshua Hawthorne, a 1992 graduate of Chadron High School, died January 17, 2010, in Republic, WA . He was 36 years of age.
Josh attended Chadron State College from 1992 to 1994.
Most recently a student at Central Washington University, Ellensburg, WA. Joshua returned to higher education after work experiences that included commercial fishing in the Bering Sea. He had also displayed his passion for cooking in co-ownership of Banjo’s Sammich Company in Ellensburg.

Paternal Grandparents- Roger and Mary Hawthorne of Hastings, NE. Maternal Grandparents- Joe and Donna Messersmith of Ajo, AZ. Sisters- Stephanie Gorlick and husband Kelly of Maple Valley, WA; Bethanie Clark Young and husband Patrick of Junction City, KS; Mariah Clark Cowgill and husband Koty of San Antonio, TX.
