Memorial services for Dorothy Heiser, age 91, of Chadron will be Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Pastor Seth Leypoldt officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Chadron Volunteer Rescue Unit or the Chadron United Methodist Church. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Dorothy Lee (Brickner) Heiser died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hay Springs, Nebraska.
Dorothy was born on June 17, 1918, in rural Dawes County. She was the oldest daughter of Harry and Doris (Harris) Brickner. Dorothy attended rural school in Dawes County and graduated from Hay Springs High School. She went on to attend Chadron State Normal College. She taught in the rural school in Dawes County.
Dorothy met and later married Stanley Heiser on May 25, 1942. To this union, three children were born, John Patrick, Thomas Michael, and Jolee. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, gardening, and reading. She was an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Denver Broncos.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Harry and Doris Brickner, and her husband Stanley.
Immediate Survivors:
Sons: John and wife Pam Heiser of Chadron, NE; Tom Heiser of Torrington, WY. Daughter- Jolee and husband Gary Hudson of Alliance, NE.
Grandchildren- Chris (Kacy) Heiser, Tiffany (Mike) Smith, Tomi (Burt) Reno, Danny Hudson, and Brandy Hudson.
Great-grandchildren- Curtis, Ciara, and Kiaya Hudson, Alaina Hudson, Andrew and Ghianna Smith, Ava and Wade Reno, and Aiden Heiser.
Sister- Patricia Hamik of Omaha, NE. Nephews & Niece Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
