Memorial services for Velma M. Rising of Crawford, Nebraska will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Community Church in Crawford with Pastor Mary McDowell Thompson and Pastor Steve Mallery officiating.  Burial will be at the Marsland Cemetery.

 Mrs. Rising died on February 11, 2010 at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford.

 Mrs. Rising was born on August 13, 1925, in Harrisburg, NE, she was 74..

Daughters:  Donna and Roy Norgard of Crawford, NE; Dixie and Ed Burke of Alliance, NE; Rhonda (Blue) and Ron Pelton of Crawford, NE.

Brother:  Norman and Linda Callanhan of Whittier, CA

Sisters:  Thelma Nation of Harrison, NE; Wilma and Gene Bengehoter of Cave Junction, OR.

Grandchildren:  9

Great-grandchildren:  14
