02/28/2010 - Melody Ann Janicke
Graveside Memorial Services for Melody Ann Janicke, age 43, of Alliance, formerly of Hay Springs will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established for Prairie Haven Hospice of Alliance.
Melody Ann Janicke passed away February 16, 2010 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska. She was born in Alliance on March 12, 1966 to George and Kathryn (Moore) Janicke. Melody lived and attended school in Gillette, Wyoming until the family came to Rushville, Nebraska to live with her Grandmother in her home.
Melody was 23 when she came to live in the nursing home in Rushville and later moved to Highland Park Care Center where she was happy and well cared for. She was a sick little girl from the age of five but she still loved life, her family, and her friends. Melody loved dogs, children, and flowers but most of all she loved parties and visiting with friends.
We will miss the smile and telephone calls at all times of the day. Melody was preceded in death by her father, one nephew Benjamin Tanner, both sets of grandparents, one brother Tony Joe, and one Aunt Virginia Moore.
Immediate Survivors: Mother- Kathryn Janicke of Rushville, NE. Brothers- Mark and Bruce of Costa Rica; Robin and Greg of Gillette, WY. Nephews- Kent and wife Jamie Janicke of Fort Collins, CO; TJ Janicke of Gillette, WY; Aaron Janicke of Denver, CO. Many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Best friends- Walice Taylor, Elizabeth and Lloyd Taylor, Tom and Judy Krotz and families. Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
