03/12/2010 - Robert Milton White

Funeral services for Robert Milton White, age 80, of Chadron, will be Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. 
 
A memorial has been established for the V.A. Hospital in Hot Springs. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Robert Milton White entered into rest on March 6, 2010 at the V.A. Medical Hospital in Hot Springs, South Dakota. 
 
Robert White was known to many as Bob. He was born in Chadron, Nebraska on December 18, 1929 to Cecil and Mabel (Fredrickson) White. Bob graduated from Chadron High School and attended Chadron State College for a short time before joining the Marines from 1951 – 1952 and fought in the Korean War. Bob then went to work on oil rigs that took him out to California, where he met his wife, Ruth A White (Cook) whom he married on June 3, 1961. Several years later, Bob and Ruth moved back to Chadron to help run the family ranch.
 
Bob enjoyed attending all Chadron High School, Chadron State, and his great-grandsons’ (Brandon Smith) football games. 
 
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mabel White, his sister Betty (White) Bisbee, and his wife Ruth A. White.
 
Immediate Survivors:
 
Children- Gene Bogar, Bobby Bogar, and Lorene Bogar.
 
Sister- Helen (White) Canarcky of Wahoo, NE.
 
Nieces- Diane (Canarcky) Strong and Debbie (Bisbee) Coronado.

Nephews- Albert and Daniel Bisbee

Great Nieces & Nephews- Several

Grandchildren- Lori Palomares, Stacey Palomares, Rorie Bogar, Randy Bogar, Ryan Bogar.

Great Grandchildren- Brandon Smith, Nicole Amaya, Cheradon Willard, Christen Willard.

Great Great Grandsons- 2
 
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
