03/22/2010 - Margaret Marie Ellsworth Lyberg

Funeral Services for Margaret Marie Ellsworth Lyberg, age 85, of Evanston, WY was at Mountain View at the LDS Stake Center for them both the 23rd February 2010.  The burial took place at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Margaret Marie Ellsworth Lyberg passed away on February 18, 2010 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston Wyoming .  Margaret was born in Crawford, Nebraska on December 3, 1924 to Wilber and Mary Ellsworth as the oldest of three siblings.  She was a sweet person who loved to laugh, and a complete joy to those who knew her.
Margaret graduated from High School in Crawford, NE and had been a resident of the Bridger Valley in Wyoming since 1952. She lived most of her years in Lonetree, Wyoming.  With the help of many generous people, Margaret compiled: “The History of Lonetree” (1890 to 1990) which is in the local libraries and museums.  She loved Wyoming; keeping “Gilbert Peak” within her sight was important to her. Margaret worked hard throughout her entire life.  She had been a camp cook for the timber men and was very good at cooking for a crowd.

She also worked the Switch Board as an Operator at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City for many years, when employment off the ranch was required of her.  She enjoyed this very much and the people she met along the way.  She and her husband John started and ran Lyberg Nutrition in Lyman, Wyoming for ten years. She found her pleasures in the earth, the animals, the aspens, the pines, the water, the river, sunrises and sunsets and also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, fished, tending to her garden and irrigating, milking the cows, tend the chickens, sewing, crocheting, and any craft.  She was an active member of the LDS church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilber Joseph and Mary Gurtrude (Reynoldson) Ellsworth; a sister Bonnie Jean Ellsworth; a grandchild Charlene Kay Bolen; and Great Grandchild Alex Norris.  Also her spouses in order, Francis Elmer Williams; Glen Kidman; Jewel Francis Meeks; and her dear John Francis Lyberg who just passed 8 months prior to her August 19, 2009.
