03/17/2010 - Lula Althea McCoy- Death Notice

Lula Althea McCoy, age 92, of Crawford passed away at her daughter’s home in Crawford on March 11, 2010.

To be in accordance with her wishes, there will be no services at this time, so a cremation has taken place. A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Lula was born on June 9, 1917 in Marsland, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy McCoy, daughter Leona (Pat) Buckley, her parents Lula and William Morava, sisters Elsie Leetch, Dixie Hamaker, and Eldora Leetch, brothers Lyle and Eldon Morava, and an infant sister, Billie.

Immediate Survivors:

Daughter- Dixie and husband Les Northcutt of Crawford, NE.

Son- Elton and wife Deanna McCoy of TX.

Brother- Leroy Morava of TN.

Grandchildren- 9
Great Grandchildren- 22
Great-Great Grandchildren- 12
