Funeral services for Orice A. Lambert, age 98, of Crawford will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Pastor Gregory Sonnenschein officiating.

Burial will be at the Crawford City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 5-7:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Crawford.

A memorial has been established for the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department or Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

She was born on May 24, 1912 in Burwell, Nebraska. At a very early age, her father loaded his family and possessions into covered wagons, and they traveled to their homestead in Montana.

In 1935, Orice married Elden Lambert. They had six children, Keith, Mary Carol, Larry, Paul, Ross, and Bruce.

Children- Keith and wife Shirley Lambert of Hull, IA; Mary Carol McDowell and husband Rick Thompson of Crawford, NE; Paul and wife Dorothy Lambert of Colorado Springs, CO; Ross Lambert of Oshkosh, NE; Bruce and wife Sharen Lambert of Chadron, NE.

Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford is in charge of arrangements.

Orice passed away on May 27, 2010 at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford.
