Funeral Services for Floyd D. "Guy" Perkins, Jr. 57, of Batesland, South Dakota will be Monday June 28, 2010 at 10:00am at Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, with Mr Charles McGaa officiating.  Burial will follow at the Fire Thunder Family Cemetery, in Pine Ridge.

A two night wake will begin at 1:00pm Saturday June 25, 2010 at Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge.

Perkins, Jr. died Monday, June 21, 2010 at the  Bennett County Health Care Center in Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Perkins of Batesland, one son Floyd Perkins, III, of Batesland, three daughters, Jamaica Perkins and Alicia Perkins of Bastesland, Mia Perkins, of Chicago, one brother Anthony "Troy" Perkins of Wounded Knee and a half brother, Scott Perkins of Kyle, South Dakota.  Also Mother Theresa Perkins of Rapid City, eight sisters, Beth Perkins of Kyle, South Dakota, Alice Monna Zaitz, Darlene "Peannie" Perkins-Ruff and Debbie Robertson of Chicago.  Also Tami Allen, Glendale, Az., Brigette Perkins, of Va., Tiffany Mills, of Rapid City, Christina Perkins, of Pine Ridge, and three grandchildren.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
