07/16/2010 - Herbert Wounded Head Sr.
Funeral Services for 89-year-old Herbert Garfield Wounded Head Sr., of Pine Ridge, SD, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday (July 16) at the Porcupine School in Porcupine, with Rev. Craig West and Herb Wounded Head III officiating.
Burial will be at the Porcupine Presbyterian Cemetery in Porcupine.
A one-night wake service began at 2:30 Thursday afternoon at the Porcupine School.
Survivors include children Wesley Homer of Denver, Betty Robertson of Kyle, Herb Wounded Head Jr of Batesland, Marilyn Wounded Head of Kansas City, Arlene LaPointe of Sacramento, and Vern Wounded Head of Porcupine; 21 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
