Funeral services for Lucille “Lucky” Jensen, age 80, of Crawford will be Monday, July 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Community Church in Crawford.
Burial will be at the Crawford Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Lucille “Lucky” Rae Jensen, 81, of Crawford, Nebraska was place in the hands of the lord July 21, 2010, at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford.
Lucky was born September 7, 1928 to Forest and Ava Hughes in Crawford. As a young girl she attended the Crawford public school system and eventually pursued the career of being a loving mother and housewife.
On September 6, 1947 she was married to LaVern Orville Jensen in Chadron, Nebraska. After a brief time they moved to California then to Colorado make a life raising four children. Upon her husbands death she moved back to Crawford and resided till present.
Lucky had many interests, cooking, the mountains, anything water related to water. She has a great love for the outdoors including her flowers and care for the yard. Her greatest joy in life was caring for and loving her family, grandchildren, many friends, and attending the church of Nazarene.
She was survived by her two sons, Martin Jensen of Douglas, WY, Randy Jensen of Wahpeton, ND; two daughters, Cindy Anderson of Crawford, NE, and Laurie Payne of Wenatchee, WA. 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one brother, Roger Hughes of Crawford, NE; three sisters, Irene Dietrick of Alliance, NE, Ila Hamaker of Crawford, NE, and Carol Hoar of Crawford, NE. Lucky was preceded in death by her mother and father , her brother Milton, and three sisters Beulah Cooley, Evelyn Covurn, and Shirley Gaggemos.
