Funeral services for Antonia Winona Swift Hawk, Cetan Cikala Winyan” (Little Hawk Woman) will be Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD with Father Rick Abert, Reverend Richard and Carol Lee and Reverend Sandore Iron Rope officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services will be provided by Mr. Galen Drapeaux.
A two night wake service will begin Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM at her home located at Cluster Unit #209 in Wanblee, SD with the second night starting Monday, August 2, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the TNTCenter in Wanblee, SD.
Burial services will be at the Gethsemane Episcopal Cemetery in Wanblee, SD on Tuesday, August 3, 2010.
Our precious and loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend, Antonia W. Swift Hawk “Cetan Cikala Winyan” (Little Hawk Woman) 23, began her journey to the Spirit World on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the East Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD surrounded by her loving family.
Antonia is survived by her hunka father, Alex Gilando of Germany; mother, Phyllis Swift Hawk of Wanblee, SD; sisters, LeAnn Romero and Carline Red Blanket both of Wanblee, SD; brothers, Larry (Tamara) Romero, Loren Romero, and Corbin (Terrolynn) Romero of Wanblee, SD, Waylon (Misty) Swift Hawk of Martin, SD, and Rodney (Irene) Randall of Rapid City, SD; aunts, Sandra Bush of Long Valley, SD, Meredith Blue Legs, Gertie Yankton, Ruth Brown, and Florine Chipps all of Wanblee, SD, Elaine Martinez, Clara Poor Bear, Agnes Plenty Bull, and Darlene Cross of Allen, SD; uncles, Ferdinand Romero of Wanblee, SD, Blaine Little Thunder, Gerald Bush of Long Valley, SD, Elton Hawk Wing of Mission, SD, Louis Quiver of Wanblee, SD, and Lindolpho Martinez of Allen, SD, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Randall, Leon Milk, Jr., Ronald Dull Knife, Peter Conquering Bear, Carlin Red Blanket, Sr., Larry Romero, Loren Romero, Corbin Romero, and Quintrell Porter.
