09/11/2010 - Wanda (Maxine) Masek
Graveside services for Wanda “Maxine” Masek, age 78, will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.
A memorial has been established with the Children Miracle Network and the Alliance Rescue Unit. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
Maxine Masek passed away August 18, 2010 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff Nebraska.
Maxine was born September 29, 1931 to Phillip and Jeanette Robertson of Crookston, Nebraska. She graduated from Crookston High School. After living several years in Chadron she then moved to the Sandhills and was a ranch cook for 23 years for Chuck and Pat DeGanahl of Lakeside, Nebraska. Then retired and move to Alliance, Nebraska. She will be greatly missed by many.
Immediate Survivors:
Children- Bob and Joyce Vrbka of Alliance, NE; Randy and Cathy Vrbka of Mission, SD; Betty and Dan Rhembrandt of Chadron, NE; Connie Sutherland and Cliff Dixon of Battle Mountain, NV.
Grandchildren- 18 Great Grandchildren- 30 Maxine was preceded in death by (Son) Danny Vrbka; (grandson) Shad Vrbka; her parents; one brother; and one sister.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
