Funeral Services for Benjamin Louis Swift Bird, Sr., age 63, of Rapid City, SD will be Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Wakpamni CAP Office with Reverend Asa Wilson officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services will be provided by Mr. Tuffy Sierra.
A one night wake will begin Friday, October 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Wakpamni CAP Office.
Burial will be at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Wolf Creek, SD.
Immediate Survivors:
Sons- Ben Swift Bird of Oglala, SD; Audie Swift Bird of Devils Lake, ND; Chaske Swift Bird of Fort Collins, CO.
Daughter- Charmaine Swift Bird of Fort Collins, CO.
Brother- Chuck Swift Bird of Bismark, ND.
Sisters- Wanda Barrett of Sioux Falls, SD; Julia Little Hawk of Pine Ridge, SD.
Grandchildren- 10
Great Grandchildren- 1
