Funeral services for Winfred Thomas Red Cloud, age 60, will be Friday, October 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Prairie Island Community Center in Prairie Island, MN.
A two-day wake will begin Wednesday, October 13th at 1:00 PM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The second day will begin Thursday, October 14th at 8:00 PM at the Prairie Island Community Center in Prairie Island, MN.
Winfred Thomas Red Cloud, age 60, went home to the Spirit World Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was active in many Traditional Lakota Cultural Practices. He was one of the Warriors who occupied Wounded Knee in 1973. Later, in 2007, he was awarded the Amos Owens Award by the Human Rights Commission.
