Funeral Services for Rebecca Yellow Hair age 89 of Wakpamni Lake, South Dakota will be at 10:00am Tuesday Dedember 7, 2010 at the Batesland School Gym with Reverend Cordelia Red Owl officiating.  Burial will be at the Messiah Episcopal Cemetery, in Wounded Knee, South Dakota.

A two night wake service will start at 1:30pm Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Batesland School Gym.

Yellow Hair died Wednesday December 1, 2010 at her home.

Her survivors include sons Patrick Yellow Hair of Batesland, R. Miles Yellow Hair of Batesland, Kelly Looking Horse of Wakpmni Lake, South Dakota, Thomas Yellow Hair of Helsinki Finland, Joseph Yellow Hair of Wakpamni, and David Yellow Hair of Enemy Swim, South Dakota.  Also daughters Wilma Yellow Hair of Batesland, Geneva Lone Hill of Batesland, and Connie Yellow Hair of Wakpamni.  Also 27 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents , Thomas Two Lance and Julia Yellow Hawk, Husband Steven Yellow Hair, children Lonnie Yellow Hair, John Yellow Hair, Peggy Tarrant, Barbara Yellow Hair, and baby boy Yellow Hair.  Also brothers David Two Lance, Ernest Two Lance, Thomas Two Lance, Jr.,and Isadore Two Lance.  Also sisters Christina Fire Place, louise Running Shield, Mabel Two Lance, Naomi Broken Rope, Almarie Yellow Hair and Angeline Two Lance.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
