Funeral services for Leolla May “Pard” Morava will be Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Crawford with Pastor George Kilmer officiating.
Burial will be at the Marsland Cemetery.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Leolla May “Pard” Morava was born on June 28, 1927 in Marsland, Nebraska to Earl and Beryl (Blackmer) Johnson. At the time of her death, she resided at the Ponderosa Villa Nursing Home in Crawford, Nebraska. Pard attended various country schools and graduated from Marsland High School in 1945. She went on to teach school in many country schools for over thirty years. On September 30, 1947 she married Don Morava in Sterling, Colorado. After which they moved to a ranch north of Rushville where their two sons were born. Pard taught both sons in their home for several years. The family then moved to the Morava place west of Marsland where Pard and Don resided until his death in November 2004. After Don passed away Pard lived at the ranch until she was unable to care for it. In the fall of 2006 she moved to Crawford.
Pard passed away on December 5, 2010 at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, NE. Immediate Survivors:
Sons- Tom and Tim and their families.
Brothers- Arnold, Roy, and Dave.
Sisters- Opal and Topsy.
Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford is in charge of arrangements.
