Funeral services for Carol Groves, age 79, of Chadron will be Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Tim Stoner officiating.
A rosary will be Monday, January 17, 2011 at 7:00 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church.
Burial will be at CalvaryCemetery.
A memorial has been established for Prairie Haven Hospice. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Mrs. Groves passed away on January 12, 2011 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Alliance, Nebraska. Carol was born on October 20, 1931 in Chadron, Nebraska.
Immediate Survivors:
Sons- Jeff and wife Maura Groves of Meford, OR; Kenny and wife Mimi Groves of Chadron, NE.
Sister- Jenny and husband Keith Gregory of Chadron, NE; Kathy and husband Steve Nichols of O'Neill, NE.
Brother- Bill and wife Virginia Strong of The Woodlands, TX. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Groves; sisters, Ruth Jackson and Amy Franklin; and daughter, Valerie Karr. Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
