Funeral Services for Louis Martin Means, Sr., age 58, of Allen, SD will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the American Horse School Gym in Allen, SD.
A two night wake will be from 2-5:00 PM at the Means Residence located 2 Miles East of Allen on BIA 22, then moving Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 5:00 PM to the American Horse School Gym at 5:00 PM to begin a two night wake Father Rick Abert, S.J. officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Phillip Waters.
Burial will be at the Mahto Ota Family Plot (Emma Waters Residence) at Allen, SD.

Step-Father: LeRoy Waters of Allen, SD.
Wife: Janice Means of Allen, SD.
Sons: Frank Louis Means and Wilbert Louis Means both of Allen, SD, and Louis Martin Means, Jr. of Rapid City, SD.
Daughters: Sherri Louise means and Sarah Cecelia Means both of Allen, SD.
Brothers: Phillip L. Waters of Allen, SD, Anthony James Waters of Martin, SD, Raymond C. Waters of Pawnee, OK, Marty J. Waters, Nathaniel T. Waters & Willard Kaliel John Waters all of Allen, SD.
Sisters: Donna Waters of Allen, SD, Katharine Waters of Pawnee, OK, and Stephanie Waters and Dawna S. Waters both of Allen, SD.
Grandchildren: 18
