Funeral Services for Melvin Bissonette, age 87, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Craig West officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Benedict Good Buffalo, Mr. Willard Black Cat, and Mr. Pete Fills The Pipe.
A one night wake will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.

Sons: Elbyn Douglas Bissonette of Pine Ridge, SD; Antoine Benedict Bissonette of Pine Ridge, SD; Duane Russell Bissonette of Farmington, NM; Albert Whiting of St. Paul, MN.
Daughter: Carmen Rose Whiting of Pine Ridge, SD.
Sisters: Mildred Cochran of Oglala, SD; Betty Bissonette of St. Paul, MN
Grandchildren: 14
Great Grandchildren: 15
