Memorial services for Max LeRoy Burrows, age 76, will be Monday, April 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the ChadronCommunityChurch.
Burial will be at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Alliance, NE.
Max LeRoy Burrows, son of Milton and Lois Burrows, was born on June 4th, 1934 in Hay Springs, NE at Mrs. Smith’s house.
He later married Diane Comer and had four children: Vonnie, Kenneth, Gerry, and Barb. Max lived on the family farm in Hay Springs, was a veteran in the Vietnam War proudly serving in the U.S. Airforce, and served in the Army during the Korean War.
Max loved the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, fishing, and rock hunting in South Dakota. When he wasn’t working at the grain bins in Oelrichs, SD, or working on the farm he would go to Denver, CO to spend time with family.
Max was loved by everyone he met. In fact, people fell in love with him within just minutes of meeting him. Max passed away in the late hours of March 31, 2011. He is survived by a very large loving family who will greatly miss his love and sense of humor.
Max will be missed by his 4 children, 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
