04/27/2011 - Erik Thomas Fisher
Funeral services for Erik Thomas Fisher, age 6 will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Chadron Berean Church with Pastor Dan Williams officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Chamberlain Chapel from 5-7:00 PM.
A memorial has been established for Erik’s sibling’s education or for school playground equipment. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Erik Thomas Fisher, age 6, was born May 26, 2004. He passed away on April 22, 2011. He belonged to the Clover Kids part of Bordeaux Trappers 4-H Club. He loved the BB shoots. Erik attended East Ward Elementary School. He also attended the Berean Church and loved Awana’s and Sunday school there.
Erik was a very happy and loving child. He loved tools and animals. He loved being outside, getting his hands dirty and building forts. Erik also loved school. He always said that recess was his favorite. He loved helping his Dad, Mom, Poppa Wayne and Mama Marci.
Erik was greatly loved and he will be missed by his parents, Tom and Erica Fisher, siblings Pamela, age 10, Kyanna, age 9, John, age 5, Trayce, age 3; grandparents, Wayne and Marcia Scherbarth, Great Grandma Ana Gimpel, also Grandparents Jim and Kathy Fisher of Riverton, Wyoming.
Erik is also survived by Aunts and Uncles Andrew Scherbarth and Nancy Hartman, Fred and Krystina Scherbarth, Chet and Beth Scherbarth, Brant Scherbarth, Scott and Lea Fisher, Marsha and Jimmy Crow, Great grandma Karey Speney, and sixteen first cousins.
Erik had many friends in school and the community and touched everyone he met with his wonderful smile and his wonderful belly laugh.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Jimmy Joe Fisher, Great Grandpa Grayden Gimpel, Francis Brooks, Great Grandparents Bert and Donna Fisher, Great Grandparents Ernest and Deliah Speney, and Great Uncle John Fisher, Great Grandparents Leonard and Vera Scherbarth.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
