Funeral Services for Yolanda Ann Youman, age 47, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Evangelical Free Church in Alliance Nebraska with Brother Mink officiating.
A one night wake will begin Friday, May 27, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Lutheran Center in Scottsbluff, NE.
Burial will be at Alliance Community Cemetery in Alliance, NE.
Yolanda was born May 26, 1963 to Percy and Audra Youman at the St. Joseph Hospital in Alliance NE. She was Baptized in the Episcopal Church in Allen SD. Her grandmothers are Corrine Barnes and Ellice Kills Well. Her grandfathers are Owen Red Shirt and Charles Youman.
She graduated Scottsbluff Senior High School in May 1981. She attended college at Chadron State College for two years 1982, 1983.
She held numerous jobs in Alliance and Scottsbluff NE, including two years at the Corner and two years at the Western Sugar Factory.
She Moved to Vidor, Texas with special friend, Robert Villanueva, in June of 2010 and was employed at Country Pantry prior to her illness of two and a half weeks.
She passed away on Thursday May 19, 2010 at 7:08 PM at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father Percy G. Youman, Sr. Her grandmother Corrine Barnes, Ellice Kills Well, and numerous grandma’s, grandpa’s, aunt’s, and uncles.

Sister: Pam (Gary) Stromen of Hastings Nebraska
Brother: Percy Youman Jr. (Beth Mousseaux) of Boulder Colorado
Mother: Audra Youman of Scottsbluff Nebraska
Two nieces: Elise Stromer Fremont Nebraska, Melissa Youman of Laramie Wyoming
Nephews: Erik Stromer of Lincoln Nebraska, Adam Youman of Laramie Wyoming
God Son: Kyle Stromer of Hastings Nebraska
Great nephews: Francisco and Xavier Blanco of Laramie Wyoming
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
