Funeral services for Imre Dojcsány, age 65, of Chadron will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Imre Dojcsány Jr., Nick Clark, Jason Kenniston, Steve Reber, Josh Sauser, and Calvin Till.
A memorial has been established for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha -Cancer Center or for the benefit of Imre’s future grandchildren.

Imre Dojcsány of Chadron passed away at home Friday August 12, 2011.
He was born in Budapest, Hungary on May 13, 1947 to Imre and Erzsébet Dojcsány. As a young boy he lived in a high rise apartment with his sister and parents. Life was difficult growing up as World War II had ended just two years prior to his birth. After completing school he served a mandatory two year term in the Hungarian military, and then became an investigative policeman. Later, Imre and some friends decided to escape communist Hungary and start new lives. They went on a group tour to Austria, snuck away from the tour, and sought out the Austrian Embassy for sanctuary. After a one year wait in Austria, he was able to immigrate to the United States.
He first lived in a Hungarian community in Pennsylvania, the year was 1974. The same year his soon to be wife, Sheris, began her veterinary career in Denver where they would later meet. He moved to Florida and began learning the machining trade. Through the 70s and 80s he learned the machining trade on his own, keeping up to date with the newest developments in computerized machining and learning to operate and program mills and lathes. Imre moved to Denver and met Sheris Matthews. They were married in July 1983 and started their own machining business, Pannonia Enterprises, before the end of the year. In 1985 they gave birth to a son, Imre Jr. After years in the big city, they were fed up with troubles in the neighborhood and decided to move. In October of 2000, the family moved and set up the business in Chadron. There Imre ran the shop until he retired in 2007, leaving the business to his son.
After his retirement he spent most of his time visiting with family and friends, playing online poker, building his model train set, renovating his office, and assisting his son Imre Jr. with the business. He loved to take trips in the RV and go fishing with the family.
He was preceded in death by his father Imre Dojcsány of Hungary.

Son: Imre Dojcsány Jr. and daughter-in-law Amanda Dojcsány, who were just married on July 9, 2011, of Chadron, NE.
Mother: Erzsébet Dojcsány of Hungary.
Sister: Erzsébet (Dojcsány) Serdült of Hungary.
Brother-In-Law: Gyula Serdült of Hungary.
Niece: Erzsébet Serdült of Hungary.
Nephew: Gyula Serdült of Hungary.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
