Funeral Services for Stanley Matthew Looking Elk, age 82, of Oglala, SD will be Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Loneman School Gym in Oglala, SD with Mr. David Rooks officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Richard Broken Nose.
A two night wake will begin Wednesday, September 14, 2011at 2:00 PM at the Looking Elk Residence in Oglala, SD for one hour on and then moving to the Loneman School Gym in Oglala, SD for the wake services.
Burial will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.

Wife: Catherine Looking Elk of Oglala, SD
Sons: Lewis Crazy Thunder of Wounded Knee, SD, Jerome Crazy Thunder of Rapid City, SD, and Norman Crazy Thunder of Baylor, WI.
Daughters: Annette Yellow Horse of Oglala, SD, Cynthia Crazy Thunder of Oglala, SD, Helen Hinton of Oglala, SD, and Heather Looking Elk of Oglala, SD
Brother: Rev. Simon Looking Elk of Rapid City, SD
Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren
