There will be a Rosary and Sharing of Memories at 7:30 PM, Friday, October 29, 2011 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at CalvaryCemetery in Chadron.

Eunice was born September 15, 1936 in Rushville, NE to Sylvester and Josephine Nadobny. She grew up on the family farm, and enjoyed spending time with her brother Albert (Buddy) and cousins until 1950, when her father died and they moved to Chadron, NE. Eunice graduated from high school in 1954 from AssumptionAcademy. Eunice married Harold E. Mandelko in 1955 and they raised their family in Chadron, NE. Eunice was employed for 27 years in the Dawes County Superintendent of Schools office, and those years in the education system were very rewarding. Eunice spent countless hours playing in the dirt, and her yard was testimony of that, as she won “Yard of the Month” in 2010 by the Chadron Garden Club. Eunice was always ready to pack a bag, and head to a new destination, she recently had taken a cruise to Alaska, and a trip with her daughters to Sanibel Island, Florida. The Red Hat Club, card clubs, volunteer opportunities, and many other clubs were always part of her active schedule.
