Funeral services for Teresa Sue (Jones) Poe, age 58, of Colona, Illinois will be on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Pastor Rod Heilbrun officiating.
Burial will be at GreenwoodCemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 7:00 PM.
A memorial has been established for the Order of the Eastern Star. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Teresa Sue (Jones) Poe passed away October 24, 2011 at her home in Colona, IL. Teresa was born November 5, 1952 in Chadron, NE to Maurice and Lorene (Varvel) Jones.
Teresa completed her elementary education at Beaver Valley District #69 in SheridanCounty. She graduated from ChadronHigh School in 1971 and RegionalWestNursingSchool in 1974 as a Registered Nurse.
She worked 35 years as an obstetrics nurse in hospitals in Nebraska, Missouri, South Dakota, Michigan and Illinois. She loved working with the babies and never found one she could not love. She also enjoyed making Christmas ornaments, beadwork, cross stitching, crocheting, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Teresa married Robert Poe in Rapid City, SD on August 21, 1982. They had one daughter, Rebecca Jenine of Houston, Texas.

Step Grandchildren: Tylor, Monique, and Aaron, Jr.
Parents: Maurice and Lorene Jones
Bothers: Leonard (Roma) and Bernard (Carolyn)
Sisters: Sheryl (Melvin) Bruns and Lois (Bruce) Chizek.
She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
