Funeral Services for Madeline Rose Black Feather, age 61, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Mr. David Rooks & Sister Connie Schmidt officiating.
A one night wake will begin Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 5:00 PM at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Everette Poor Thunder.
Burial will be at Our Lady of Good Council Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
Immediate Survivors:
Children: Dawn Traversie of Pine Ridge, SD, Delray Traversie of Salt Lake City, UT, and Misty Morton of Pine Ridge, SD.
Brothers: Bluch Black Feather of Pine Ridge, SD and Merle Black Feather of Pine Ridge, SD
Sisters: Lucille Black Feather and JoAnn Black Feather both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Grandchildren: 13
Great Grandchildren: 3
