11/10/2011 - Colleen A. Snyder
Colleen A Snyder of Chadron passed away on November 4, 2011 at Crestview Care Center. She was 87.
Funeral services will be held November 10, 2011 at the Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron at 10:00 AM with Randy Gulbranson and Tom Serres officiating. Burial will be in GreenwoodCemetery. Colleen was born November 9, 1923 to Vincent and Helen Tedrow in Johnstown, Nebraska.
Colleen liked traveling, dancing, having a good time with family and friends, and watching football; she also loved spending time with her two dogs. She worked at Helen’s Restaurant for a number of years, which was owned and operated by her mother Helen Dinnel, Colleen later became employed at Safeway as a checker where after working there a number of years, retired.
She is survived by her daughters Sheryl Marchant of Chadron and Ginger Fager of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her sister Bernadine Logan of Arvada, Colorado; a brother-in-law Robert Logan; a sister-in-law Rosemary Snyder of Sun City, California; 3 granddaughters, and 1 great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill D. Snyder in 1991.
A memorial has been established for the Chadron Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and the Humane Society. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970ChadronNE, 69337.
