Funeral Service for long-time Cherry County rancher and former Nebraska State Senator Elvin Adamson, age 91, of Valentine will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Valentine.  Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine.  Visitation will be on Monday, November 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine.  Mr. Adamson passed away on Friday, November 18, at the Pine View Good Samaritan Center in Valentine.

Survivors:

Wife:  Mabel of Valentine.

Daughters:  Cheryl Ravenscroft of Nenzel, NE; Janie Bennett of Valentine; Marge Harris of Lincoln, NE.

Son:  Marvin of Nenzel.

Sister:  Delma Gregorsen of Chadron, NE.

Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine is entrusted with service arrangements.
