Funeral services for Gene Stava, age 86, of Rushville, Nebraska will be Monday, January 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rushville with Pastor Michael Wittrock officiating.
Burial will be at FairviewCemetery.
A visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Church.
A memorial has been established for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Rushville Fire and Rescue Unit or the Hay Springs Fire Department Building Fund; Rushville American Legion. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343

Mr. Stava passed away on January 19, 2012 at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs. Gene was born on September 2, 1925 in rural SheridanCounty.
